that's a good idea mustang, i vote yes if you follow the same format nascar does. pick a day to have normal qualifying, the top 2 qualifiers are locked in for first and second starting spots no matter what the outcome of the duels are. then right after run the duel races. everyone from there gets split into odd's/even's for 2 duel races. if you don't participate in the duel's you will have to start at the rear for the real race. it would give everyone a chance to practice and get used to cautions for the newcomers. i say go for it.

we would just run the "qualifying" right before the duels and get the results from heatfinder anyways. So it really is simple. Anyone else want to share their ideas?

Sounds good whovever finishes highest should start highest but that's not possible. I am up for this

This idea usually does not work because of the fact that you would have to do it a week in advance, and I dont think we should push the schedule back.

when does the season start? if its not starting next sunday then we have to time to do it.
also if you do decide to do the duel races, you could offer some type of incentive for the 2 winners. maybe like 2 bonus points each or something for the winners.

I love this idea! You could run both races at the same time after Q using the HF servers! It would be a blast.

We can put 2 up not a problem, but the hf servers lag a lot and i prefer not to use them. And whos gonna run the other server :p

We can also run two races simultaneously Grand-Am multi-class style. Have two pacecars and two seperate groups.

the last 2 races have been interesting. At Texas fuel mileage won out and last night it was all about who could save the right front tire. can't wait to see what happens next week.

The Pre-Season bonus points for the 3 drivers with the most wins have been rewarded. Donaldson 3, Mustangman 2, and Spike 1.
These points are the reward for dedication and success in the pre-season. I had mentioned that your work would not go un merited, but had never explicitely mention what the incentive would be.
These bonus pts are listed in the Penalty column, but the - sign reverses them in the system.
