Vote now for a new race time (Sundays)!

We will be doing pre-season tests with the current cup cars before upgrading to the new 2013 models for the official season. We are also looking to do a race more similar to the 500 for our season opener, consisting of a bit longer length. And obviously we will be using our live yellow flag system.


We are also looking for the following to help aid us on race nights, anyone can apply.
1) Pacecar driver
2) Admin to watch incidents during yellow flag proceedings to directly penalize drivers if incident does not appear to be a racing accident (Daytona opener only)
3) Push car (extra SC or the another utility vehicle to help aid vehicles to pitlane)
4) Post race review officers [you can also be a racer]

Odds are we won't need all of these

i wish this league could run at like 9:00 on any day of the week. Those of us with wives and kids make it much easier on us to participate.

As we have seen in the past the plate tracks are a nightmare for us drivers and for the admins.. i would actually lessen the race lengths on those..maybe just do like a 30 lap shootout instead of 45 - 50 laps. i think that would prevent a lot of conflicts and be a lot less time consuming.

Up the race lengths on tracks like Charlotte if you were trying to make it the 600 so to speak. or a darlington, indy or bristol..the big time tracks..For daytona and talladega its just the opposite, the fewer the laps the better it is for everyone involved.

I will remind you of your post race notes after daytona last season "Cautions: Too many". I think if you add more laps, its just gonna contribute to more and more cautions, more and more upset people, and more and more insanity going on out there as people tend to forget how to drive and lose their minds on plate tracks.

I also hope you leave the tire wear the same at 2x, as i believe that's the only tire wear where you can see a huge variety of strategy at each track when it comes to pitting. If you go 3x or 4x, your pretty much stuck at changing 4 tires every time every caution.

Im considering adding 8:30

Frankly, the later we start the more likely we are to have more drivers. But there's also a cliff where if we start too late then not many drivers will show. I personally like the start time of 9 Eastern, that makes it 8 my time, which leaves a good cushion for me to eat a late dinner or whatever.

8:30pm est might work for me, but I really like Cody's suggestion of 9pm est

Grumpy wouldn't that coincide with OWA sunday night races

7:30 or 8pm is fine with me. Donaldson they can't do any races during the week @ 9pm as all the days around that time are already taken. If HMS or any of Duster's leagues dropped one of their nights then maybe Rev Racing could move to a different day.

I like the long draft races as long as they are in 2x wear. 3x wear just make for too much pitting. There wouldn't be so many cautions if people bothered to practice more .

No, Our only OWA race on Sunday is at 4pm. We did away with the Sunday Night Series as it was just to much for us to handle, plus neither of us really had time for it.
