I preferably would scrap the plate tracks. Or do no cautions at them.

I think we could do plate tracks if we have Competition Cautions.

Plate tracks wouldn't be a problem if people just calm down.

I would suggest when we do run the plate races, have a really tight setup for everyone that doesn't make it so wreck-prone. That last setup we had for Daytona was loose as hell and you saw the results, we were wrecking everywhere, you couldn't even turn the car to pass without spinning. Tighten these puppies up.

Also for plate races you may want try 1.5 - 2.0 second gaps because everyone just wants to be up everyone else's butt for the restarts and that's when damage happens before even getting the green.

You have to understand when you don't do proper pace speed that causes a ripple affect for everyone behind you when people are constantly gassing it and slamming the brakes on.

its the responsibility of the driver to make their setup as safe as possible for them. We allow forgiveness on mistakes off course.
